NeSMITH CHEVROLET WEEKLY RACING SERIES WEEK 15 PREVIEW
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
CARTERSVILLE, GA – Week 15 of the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series will see
limited action due to the $5,000-to-win NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring
event today and tomorrow at Fort Payne Motor Speedway in Fort Payne, AL, and the July 4th
Holiday, as several tracks are taking the weekend off.
The West Region of the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series will see four events on
the schedule this weekend, all Saturday night events at A1 Raceway in Slidell, LA, Whynot
Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS, Pike County Speedway in McComb, MS, and Flomaton
Speedway in Flomaton, AL. The Flomaton Speedway event will pay $1,000-to-win.
There will be one event in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region this
Saturday night, and that will be the $900-to-win race for the Group Metal Recyclers Late Models at
Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, IN.
Driver participating in the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring
event today and tomorrow at Fort Payne Motor Speedway will receive 10 Bonus points that will be
added to their Top 16 point totals in their declared Region. Driver can earn up to 40 Bonus points
through their participation in National Touring events.
Looking ahead to Week 16, there will be a pair of Double Point races in the NeSmith
Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region. Penton Raceway in Penton, AL will host a Double
Points event on Friday night, July 11, and East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL will
present a Double Points race on Saturday night, July 12.
