18 Days and Counting to the 2nd Annual Blast from the Past at Citrus County Speedway

Merritt Island, FL. (February 17, 2010)  March 7th is approaching fast as the 2nd Annual Blast
from the Past nears.  Citrus County Speedway in Inverness, Florida will be the host track for 2010
and everyone is getting very excited as the time gets close.

"We have a grand list this year of drivers who will be joining us," said Event Coordinator Joyce
Lankford.  "I am so excited it is unreal and can't wait for the few short weeks to pass until March
7th is here."
"The invitations are out, we have posters at a number of tracks and all indications are that this will
be even bigger and better than our 2009 reunion."

"Drivers 60 and older and one guest will get in free.  All others will pay $20.00 at the pit gate to
get into the pits which will include a great bbq, bench racing and plenty of autographs from our
drivers.  Children are FREE in the pits unless they are eating and there will be a $5.00 charge for
their meals."

"Also we are asking that everyone please bring one non-perishable item to be donated to the
Citrus United Basket."

"We will also have ride-along cars at the track for all the fans to enjoy.  Jim Higganbotham will
have his NAPA car there and also hopefully Kevin with his Kevin Harvick car.  Last year the fans
had a great time, both big and small, in the ride-along cars."

On March 7th, the pit gate will open at 8 a.m. with the grandstand gate opening at 12 noon.
There will be a drivers meeting and safety meeting before racing starts at 1 pm.

General admission to the grandstands is $10.00 with children 12 and under FREE.
