The Florida Short Track Report has just completed the 1st Annual Fans Favorite
Track in the state of Florida. The poll was conducted over the month of January
and the fans have voted Putnam County Speedway in to the winners circle.
Putnam County Speedway has been known for having some of the very best
race fans in the state. They have voted for the Florida Short Track Report Driver
of the year in grand style winning the first two years of the contest with their open
wheel modified driver Jason Lowe winning in 2005. This year they made a repeat
performance with mini stock driver Blake Spencer getting the win and keeping the
title at Putnam County Speedway.
Like always the fans and drivers at Putnam County Speedway went to work in
fine fashion for the Fans Favorite Track of 2006 by out voting all the other tracks
in the state to show just how they feel about their home track. They put up almost
twice the votes of any track this year. Putnam County Speedway fans have
shown us all just how good one race track can be.
This was a pure testament of how the fans feel about the great job done by Stan
Lawrence and the entire staff of Putnam County Speedway in 2006. It is truly
deserved for Putnam County Speedway to be the Fans Favorite Track in the
state of Florida in 2006.
