ASALMS teams from all three divisions are welcome to attend as Provisionals for each division will be issued as well as transfers from the 2-3 GM Performance Parts Shootouts. This event will be ran on the Hoosier Bias-Ply (10-Inch slicks) that are the norm in the Northern and Southern Divisions.

As for the Radfest/Race Against Drugs 200 in Radford, Virginia; The Radford Police Department needs your help! Dusty is a nine year old Belgian Shepherd, imported to the United States from Germany. Dusty and Master Police Officer, Chris Caldwell started the K9 unit for the Radford City Police in 2002. Since then they have made more than 100 drug arrests, located over 20 fugitives, and searched all the area schools in an effort to keep the community drug free!
On May 31, 2007 Dusty retired due to an on duty injury to his eye, a tumor on his leg, and development of arthritis. The Police Department does not have in it’s budget to replace Dusty, and therefore the City Police is without a Police K9. To purchase and train a new dog will cost approximately $10,000.00.
The ASALMS in conjunction with the Radford Police Department will be conducting a Helmet Pass through the grandstands after the on-track Autograph Session in an effort to raise money for the Radford Police Department to secure a new Police Dog. Please help as much as you can as any donation big or small will certainly help.
The eighth race of the 2007 season for the ASALMS Challenge Division is going to be a very special show as the ASALMS and teams will be promoting that there are many ways to have fun and be drug free. The ASALMS will offer the youth in the community a chance to meet one on one with the race teams as well as a chance to be selected to ‘Wave the green flag at the start of the event’ and stand in as the Grand Marshall for the ‘Gentleman start your engines.
This is a great family event for fun and education about the dangers of drug use as the ASALMS will have an on track Autograph session that will be dedicated to the Radford Community Youth and the Race against Drugs. The local youth can come out and meet in person our teams, many of the up and coming young rising stars. The Race Against Drugs Organizations: Race Against Drugs.org will be providing free coloring books and the teams will offer many handouts and trinkets.
A RAD Pledge form is available at the ASALMS Home Offices in Lexington, Michigan for the local youth in your organization to sign to affirm the commitment to say no to drugs. The Pledge form signature will reward them with free admittance to the event (12 and under) as well as a Race against Drugs wrist band.
