Jul 05 2007 --- The Wagon Master Heads 'Em Up When Five Flags Speedway started the Bomber Division several years ago, the general idea was for someone to be able to buy any old full size car off the street and, with a few minor safety improvements, go racing. Well, some of the Bombers have graduated to look like their high powered counterparts in the Sportsmen division, but Danny "Wagon Master" Burns has been proving that big cars can be competitve. And he backed that up even further on June 22nd when he drove his Big Red Wagon (station wagon that is) into the USA Digital Victory Lane. It was a very popular win with the fans, as Danny and his teammate Tony Mandel have always been enchanting to the fans with their cars and sirens. The win also helped Burns in the Top Gun Points Standings as he currently rides a close third behind Michael Kitchens and leader Brannon Fowler. The Wagon Master will be going for two in a row on Friday Night, along with Billy Hoover in Sportsmen, Donnie Hamrac in Super Stock and Sammy McMullen in Pro Late Model. Friday is Military Appreciaton Night with all Military personel getting into the Grandstands for 1/2 Price. Pit Gates will open this week at 3:00PM. The Grandstands will open at 5:00PM, PLM Qualifying is at 6:45PM with Racing Scheduled for 8:00PM Sharp!
