Lexington, Michigan (07/17/2007): The ASA Late Model Series Southern Division
Presented by GM Performance Parts has completed the Fourth event of 11 Points
Events, 12 Overall of the 2007 Season at the Birmingham (AL) International
Raceway.
The second oldest and continually operating speed plant in the United States, the
0.625 Mile Semi-Banked Paved Oval of the Birmingham International Raceway in
Birmingham, Alabama was the site for the fourth race of the 2007 season in the
ASALMS Southern Division; The Crimson 125 Presented by FLF Racecars.
Juliette, Georgia Driver, Beau Slocumb grabbed the lead from race long leader,
Brandon Johnson on Lap 100 and from there, the newest member of the Brothers
Racing Team pulled away to win his second ASALMS Southern Division Feature of
the 2007 season and first ever for his new team in his Zaxby’s Real Chicken/Ford
Fusion.

The next event for the ASALMS Southern Division will be on Saturday August 11,
2007 at the Orange County (NC) Speedway as the 0.375 Mile High-Banked Paved
Oval located just South of the Virginia/North Carolina border and North of
Raleigh/Durham in Rougemont, North Carolina is the site for the running of Race
Number Five on the 2007 Calendar; The Orange County 125.
Joining the ASALMS Southern Division contingent in the lone Tar Heel State
appearance of the season will be the OCS weekly divisions of Limited Late Model
Stock Cars, Grand Stocks, Southern Ground Pounders, and Street Stocks. The
Entry Form for the Orange County 125 will be available beginning on Thursday
July 26, 2007.
