Nov 26 2007 --- Hunter Robbins Ready To Add Snowball Trophy
16-Year-Old Former Snowflake 100 Winner Ready For Next Big Win

Just a short two years ago, 14-year-old racer Hunter Robbins etched his name
in the history books at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida by winning
the Snowflake 100 Pro Late Model event, one of the most prestigious short-
track races of the year.  Now, just two years later, 16-year-old driver Robbins
looks to add his name to another list as the winner of the 40th Annual
Snowball Derby, the biggest Super Late Model race of the season.

Earlier this season, Robbins went to victory lane at Five Flags in the Blizzard
Series.  Now he is looking to repeat that feat in the Snowball Derby.

“I have always liked running at Pensacola, especially after winning the
Snowflake,” said Robbins.  “It has become one of my favorite tracks.  We have
run well there all year and I think we have a very good shot at winning the
Snowball.  My car handles real well down there.”

Last week Robbins and his team headed down to Five Flags to test at the
facility and get his car up to speed.  After that successful test, Robbins is
pumped up and ready to go after the checkered flag.

“Our test went good,” said Robbins.  “We tried some things and figured some
new stuff out.  We have been working on qualifying so we start up front and
aren’t in the back where the action is.    We figured out some stuff and hope to
put it to good use to qualify in the top five.  That would be a great
accomplishment right there.”

Knowing the history behind the big event, Robbins is anxious for the Snowball
Derby week to begin.  He is even more excited to try any put his name next to
those that have run and won the race in the past as well as who will be there
this year.

“The caliber of drivers that have won it and have tried to win it are
phenomenal,” said Robbins.  “Guys like Mark Martin and Rusty Wallace have
come down and run it.  There are a lot of big names that will be racing this
year that have won big races and championships across the country.  Kyle
Busch and some other NASCAR drivers I have heard will be racing there.

“To do what we did in the Snowflake was huge.  It was awesome to win the
Snowflake and it will be awesome to add our name to the history books as the
2007 Snowball Derby winner.  It will be big.”

The 40th Annual Snowball Derby is set to run Nov. 29 – Dec. 2 at Five Flags
Speedway in Pensacola, FL.  The 300-lap feature event will go off on Sunday
at 1pm local time.
