  22nd Annual Dodge Chili Bowl Nationals and Where They Come From

Lonnie Wheatley, TULSA, Okla.  (January 5, 2008) – Distance is no object.  
Nor are any supposed travel concerns.  Perpetually over-inflated fuel prices
be damned.

There is no stopping those intent upon reaching Tulsa, OK, each January, as
is evidenced by the 285 entries for the 22nd Annual Dodge Chili Bowl
Nationals, set to unfold atop the ¼-mile Tulsa Expo Raceway clay oval inside
the QuikTrip Center next week, January 8-12.

Entries have been filed from all corners of the country and beyond, with 29
states as well as Canada and Australia represented.

A nomadic sort by nature, drivers are listed by state according to what was
listed as the hometown on their entry forms, which may in some cases differ
from their original hometown and state.
