ASA Late Model Series Information you need to know for the upcoming 2008 racing season.Posted January 16th, 2008

Lexington, Michigan (01/16/2008): The 2008 Racing Season for the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts kicks off this weekend with the 2007 ASALMS Awards Banquet and Weekend of Champions, which headlines the entire weekend on Friday and Saturday at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
In addition to the Awards Banquet, the 1st annual ASALMS How To Seminars will start things off on Friday January 18, 2008 from 8:00a.m.-6:00p.m. The Seminars will be followed by the ASALMS Meet and Greet Party beginning at 7: 30p.m.
The 2008 ASALMS Drivers/Owners Meeting will start things off on Banquet Day Saturday from 9:00a.m.-12:00p.m. Then it’s time to celebrate the Fifth Anniversary 2007 racing season one more time beginning with Happy Hour for the 2007 ASALMS Awards Banquet at 4:00p.m.
The Awards Ceremony to honor and reflect on the 2007 season will follow at 5: 00p.m. Dinner and some ASALMS style partying will close out the weekend beginning at 7:30p.m. All times are in accordance with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
In other ASALMS news and notes; There’s still a wide variety of numbers available to new and returning ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts teams for the upcoming 2008 Racing Season in all four divisions within the Lexington, Michigan based series.
Numbers for the upcoming 2008 season within all four divisions of the ASALMS, new and returning memberships both, remain open to the general public. The 2008 ASALMS License Application and Registration Forms are available and will continue to be available throughout the 2008 racing season.

The ASALMS is very happy to announce the finalized list of Certified Engine Re-builders for the 2008 Racing Season. There are many returning Certified Engine Re-builders as well as new additions to the 2008 line-up.

The ASALMS has mandated a Spec Wiring Harness for the ASALMS Northern and Southern Divisions and strongly recommends this Spec Wiring Harness for the Challenge Division! This Spec Wiring Harness MUST be purchased from Nelson Specialties Inc. For more information, please call: 1 (704) 662- 6600.
