The newest feature on the pages of the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts Websites continues to be a very popular feature on all three ASALMS Websites.
Once again drivers are featured on the websites of the ASALMS in a unique and relaxed setting. All in an effort to get to know each and every one of the pilots who will call the ASALMS home for the upcoming 2008 season.

For the next installment of “Meet the ASALMS Teams” it’s time to meet Lakeland, Florida driver, Chris Fontaine. During the 2007 season in the ASALMS Southern Division, Fontaine finished Fifth Overall and Third in the Rookie of the Year title. In addition, the Lakeland, Florida driver also finished 17th in limited appearances within the ASALMS Challenge Division
The 26-year-old also two appearances in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series where he finished 17th and 20th at the Mansfield (OH) Motorsports Park and Memphis (TN) Motorsports Park respectively. Plans for 2008 call for the Sunshine State driver to make a run for the 2008 ASALMS Southern Division Championship as well as make select appearances in the ASALMS Challenge Division.

Ran 3 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in 2005. 5th Place 2004 All American Challenge Series points with 2 wins, 6 top 5’s, 9 top 10’s of 18 races. 9th Place 2003 All American Challenge Series points with 4 top 5’s, 8 top 10’s of 15 races. 2001-2002 Ran 30 NASCAR All Pro races 3rd Place 2000 FASCAR points with 1 win, 4 top 5’s, 11 top 10’s of 21 races. 1999 MMRA Minicup National Indoor Champion 1999 North Florida Region MMRA Minicup Champion with 11 wins, 21 top 5’s out of 23 races.
